HMB is a metabolized product from leucine which is one of the essential amino acids.
HMB can stimulate the mechanism of muscle generation and suppress muscle breakdown.

If you take the BEYOND Protein, you can stimulate the muscle generation and suppress the muscle breakdown.
You are more likely to break down muscle after workout, so you should take HMB with protein after workout.
If you could stimulate muscle generation and suppress muscle breakdown, you can get more muscle and raise your basal metabolic rate.
If you want to take the HMB with WPI protein, you should take BEYOND Protein.
